I am because
we are.
The second Black Tech Belfast gathering. A room for Black professionals, founders, and students in Northern Ireland tech, and everyone curious about joining them.
Places are limited. Bring a friend.
Finding your people shouldn't feel like searching for a signal in the noise
Belfast's tech scene is buzzing. But if you're Black and in tech, or curious about getting into it, finding your people here can feel like searching for a signal in the noise. Black Tech Belfast exists to fix that.
Our first edition proved what we suspected: the community is here, and it was hungry for a room like this. So for Belfast Tech Week, we're back.
No stiff panels. No name-tag small talk that goes nowhere. Just good conversation with people who get it.
What to expect
- People Bingo. Our house icebreaker. You'll be talking to strangers inside twenty minutes, and they won't stay strangers.
- A fireside, not a lecture. Real journeys into and through tech in Northern Ireland: what worked, what didn't, what we wish we'd known.
- The resource hub launch. Templates for breaking into and growing in NI tech, left behind for the next person the way we wish someone had left them for us.
- The community, ongoing. Join the group on the night and stay connected between gatherings.
This event is part of #BelfastTechWeek - a week of events curated by the tech community, for the tech community.

Your host
Hosted by Ifedayo, with support from Sellexa. I built the room I wished existed when I was figuring this industry out alone, so the next person wouldn't have to.
Come as you are. Bring your questions, your ideas, your CV anxieties, your startup pitch, your "I don't really know what I'm doing yet but I'm interested" energy. All of it belongs here.
